About Our Founder
As the proud founder of Shop Kids Playsets, I am deeply committed to nurturing young minds through the transformative power of play. My dedication to curating a thoughtful collection of play products stems from my passion for fostering children's independence, imagination, and love for play, as the eldest of 13 great-grandchildren coming from an immigrant family.
Born in Toronto, ON, I've moved homes many times throughout my childhood, but always knew that wherever I went I'd find comfort in play. Play represented a constant source of fuel for my imagination, shaping my curiosity and ultimately igniting a lifelong passion for the art of play. My journey is a testament to the profound impact of play on child development. It’s a privilege to share this passion with families; creating moments of growth, creativity, and joy for children.
Each item in our collection is chosen for its commitment to innovating kids play, sharing my values around sustainability, giving back to the community, and promoting inclusivity. I believe in the magic that happens when children are given the freedom to explore and create, and I am dedicated to unlocking the full potential of play through intentional and meaningful experiences.
